Would Google plus help your blog?

If you are also going to blog about Google plus, never write as Google +.

How bloggers can make use of Google plus to attract more targeted visitors? This question is widely raised in the Internet marketing forums and as expected, answers are diverse. Though the number indicates that there are already 10 million Google plus users, I feel it would take a long time to make the Facebook loyalists to betray Facebook.

Here are some answers that I gathered from various places in the web:

* Google allows to place links to your blogs. This means you can also link to your digital foot print.
* Sharing of information is allowed like any other social networking sites.
* I find it easy to add friends and people with similar interests.

Due to lack of patience, I give below a link to a blog post that has pointed several features of Google plus.
http://www.buzzom.com/2011/07/how-authors-bloggers-and-journalists-can-benefit-from-google-plus/

It will help you to grasp the full potential of Google plus.

Trackbacks-where have they gone?

Do you remember how bloggers were urged to use trackbacks a few years ago? Every famous blogger, every SEO professional took time to emphasize the utility of the trackbacks in blogosphere.

Bloggers made use of the trackbacks to know who links back to their blog posts and genuinely reciprocated by linking back to other bloggers. This resulted in targeted traffic to the bloggers.

Of late, I find bloggers are becoming selfish and not reciprocating inbound links. Either they are too busy or simply not bothered about who mentions their blog posts in their blogs.

I have been linking to all the blog posts that I mention in this blog but I don't see any improvements in my blog's inbound links.

Do you have any comments on the subject?

Why targetted blogging is difficult?

Even after 5 years of blogging, I find I am still learning the nuances of targeted blogging. Thus far, I have been blogging what comes naturally to me without seriously looking into the aspects of inserting frequently searched keywords.

Every time, I come across profitable keywords, I note them down only to use them in my next blog post but always forgetting to incorporate.

I find I am even lagging behind blog promotion that I was actively involved a year ago. I think I am getting contended with the money I get for doing blogging assignments as a ghost blogger.

So what I planned to do to attract targeted traffic?
I intend to convert keyword rich PLR articles into unique blog posts without disturbing the keyword density. I tried it several times earlier but my natural blogging interfered always.

I have already identified several bloggers who boast of over 2000 email subscribers to their blogs' RSS feed. They are my inspiration. I planned to use their blogs' topic in my blogs.

What do you say? Will it work?

How to increase blog traffic in simple ways?

One of my friend has been desperate to increase his blog readership and another friend of mine got Google PR4 without doing any Internet marketing at all! How did this happen?

Hey, I know Google PR doesn't mean big traffic. It also didn't mean that second friend's blog as no traffic.

So, how to increase blog traffic simply?
* I have learnt that the topic of the blog decides the traffic. There is really no point in blogging about a subject that has no search volume at all.
* Participate in revenue sharing sites where you get instant readers o your post.
* Submit to RSS feed directories.
* Use Facebook effectively
* Use Zemanta as your main blogging tool.
* Use Google groups to increase visitors.
* If you can write a press release, it will be a great traffic puller.

Try all these one by one and you will certainly see results.

How to build loyal readership?

How frequently you check your email daily? I check my email more than 10 times a day. This has proved to be beneficial for me as I am able to spot the current hot topic in the world of Internet.

I have subscribed to so many RSS feeds, set up several Google Alerts that inform me what is being talked about by a majority of people and what is being searched by thousand of people all over the world.

I am able to pick up a very hot topic almost instantly as it is known to the rest of the world. I quickly blog about it or weave an article. The articles thus I wrote have fetched me a decent number of visitors.

Over the years, I have thus developed an image as an internet writer and built my loyal readership.

You can also do this!

Wonderful analysis of your blog's performance.

Every blogger who are committed to their blogs would like to know how their blogs are received in the blogosphere and who reads them.

They also would like to know:
* Who is linking to their blog posts
* The number of page views
* In how many social bookmarking sites their blog appears
* How many comments were received for their blog posts

Google Analytics produces some performance data but it is not always sufficient to know all the above information.

I read that analytics.postrank.com/ gives you these important analyses. It also gives your blogs a score of engagement. That will definitely be an useful guidance to improve our blog promotion effort.

Try it now.

Free traffic site for bloggers.

Right now, I am experimenting with a new website that is said to increase blog traffic free of cost. In fact, we can earn money to use that web site.

Yes, I have seen some negligible amount against my name but I am satisfied with the numberof visits my blog got so far.

I have asked some questions to the site's support staff and I have been receiving polite replies promptly.

The reason I am not mentioning the site name here is, I am still not very clear about the user interface. I hope to understand it in a day or two.

Tomorrow, I will be attending the mega event of Chennai Bloggers Meet organized by indiblogger.in I will look into the free traffic site again on Sunday and get back here with my experience.

Please stay tuned to this blog post.

5 Free Services to Estimate the Value of your Blog

Many blog owners look closely on the PageRank as a criterion of popularity of the web site. However, Page Rank is just one of the ways to evaluate where you stand as a webmaster. Another measure to consider is Website value. Though there is no accurate measure of how much a website is worthy of, there are some online tools which provide a vague idea through its own calculations.

The calculations may be based on the Google PR, website backlinks, Alexa ranking, Compete rankings, Quantcast rankings, URLs submitted to social networking sites etc. Some of the most popular websites to check your website worth are given below.

  1. MyWebsiteWorth is a free tool which will analyze your site, and let you know how well it’s being monetized, and what value you could sell it for. The calculation is based on Alexa ranking, Compete rank, Google PR, estimated number of visitors to the site and People rank.

  1. U2WS. Among many options, you will be also able to get the page rank, the traffic details, etc. Finally, if you are interested in getting to know in what part of the world the website is located, you can also do that. You get detailed information about websites, like traffic details, web statistics, website estimated value and daily income, rankings, related links, host ip address and much more.

  1. WorthBot collects data about the target webiste including visits, traffic, ad views and more. Code then manipulates that data using a secret internal calculation in order to provide a rough site worth estimation.

How objective the information is? You see a huge gap in value estimates by different services. So, use the obtained results for your reference only.

Better Tracking of Visitors Interaction on your Blog

Do you mind, if somebody uses the content posted on your blog or website pages? I personally do not mind. However, it would be nice if there will be ability to track all the cases, when content is copied, and the proper credit will be presented. The Tynt Tacer free service for web masters make that wish easy to achieved.

What does Tracer do?
Tracer secretly tracks when users copy content from your web site and automatically adds a link back to the original page when your content is pasted. So, why do I need Tracer?
Tracer is a brand new way to:
  • Generate more visits and page views
  • Get credit when content is copied from your site
  • Measure and understand user engagement
  • Improve your search engine ranking

Generate more visits and page views
The automatically added attribution link provides return traffic to your site when your content is shared without your knowledge.

Get credit when content is copied from your site
The automatically added link back ensures you get credit for content that you have created. You can’t stop users from copying from your site but you can improve the chances of getting credit for your content.

Measure and understand user engagement
Tracer allows you to view statistics on how often content is copied from your site, what that content is and what keywords are being copied most. This helps you better understand which content is most interesting to your users.

Our data shows that those pages that users engage with most are not necessarily those with the most page views.

Tracer allows you to identify the most popular content on your site so you can:
  • Provide high quality data to your advertisers, over and above page view stats.
  • Learn which stories users forward most using our copy/paste technology.
  • Produce content more closely aligned with what your users are interested in.
  • Optimize your search terms or keywords.

Improve your search engine ranking
The number one signal that search engines use to determine how relevant your site is, and therefore how high your site ranks, is the number and quality of links that link back to your site. Tracer automatically adds a link back to your site when content is copied and pasted. When your content is pasted onto a blog, Twitter, or another web site it has a direct impact on your search ranking.

By seeing what words and phrases users are copying from your site you can better understand how you might select your keywords, meta-tags, tags, and even ad-words.

Also, Tynt.com is an increasingly popular place for people to find interesting web sites and content and generates visits to your site when content is copied.

Who needs Tracer?
  • Sites that would like to increase traffic and page views.
  • Sites that would like to better understand what content is most engaging.
  • Writers or content creators that would like credit for their work when it is copied.
  • Writers or content creators who would like to see which content is the most engaging and/or the most popular. Keep in mind that page views alone don’t necessarily mean that the user engages with content.
  • Sites selling advertising who would like to find out which pages can drive higher advertising rates.

Generate Fast and Easy Misspellings of All Your Keywords

“Uncover Thousands Of Profitable Misspelled Keywords Instantly To Drive Tons Of Qualified Visitors To Your Websites!”

Xtreme Typo Generator is a freeware software utility allows generating the keywords which are intentionally mistyped or misspelled.

But, why use misspelled keywords?
If using mistype keywords does not make sense to you, then you have to reorient yourself and look at the issue from the different perspective. In fact, misspelled or typo keywords are as useful as those which are correctly spelled or typed. Many internet users mistype or misspell words or phrases in their search boxes. An SEO-smart website must also meet this fact and adjust to this reality.

About 20% of all searches contain keyword misspellings, and there are those which are more common. Webmasters can take advantage of these misspellings to use in his or her own website by adding them to the website’s keyword list. Having these misspelled keywords would actually raise the traffic and popularity of the website.

Allowing the misspelled words in the body of the article does not look too professional, but using misspelled keywords for labels and categories assignment does not harm the site, especially, if the list of the keywords is hidden.

Thinking of thousands of keyword combinations can be very time consuming and very draining. Double the effort and time, and you can probably make a short list of all the possible and common keywords in typo mistakes. That is why a tool like the Xtreme Typo Generator becomes essential.

What can Xtreme Typo Generator do for you?
  • Create a list of thousands of misspelled keywords in just a few clicks.
  • Up to 6 options for you to choose from on how to you want the keywords to be misspelled.
  • Add your own keyword list in the software for more flexibility.
  • Export in TXT file for easy reference later.
  • Adwords keyword wrapper feature to easily prepare your Adword campaign.
  • Organize keywords in broad, exact, phrase, lowercase and negative case.
  • Saves you a ton of time, effort and spare you from spending thousands of dollars in competing for expensive keywords in the search engines.
  • and much more…

Author: IM Soft Xtreme

The Xtreme Typo Generator Utility is rated 4 of 5 on the RateItAll Rating list of the best free computer programs for the keywords generation. As of today, there are 22 utilities presented on the list.

How to increase marketing conversion rate?

Every blogger is striving hard to promote his blog to get more and more visitors daily. I am tapping several blog marketing resources like actively participating in bloggers forum and blogging communities.

I also do social bookmarkings and outsource blog directory submissions. But I don’t get the desired results due to low conversion rate. When I hired a SEO specialist for just one hour, he reported that my advertising efforts are not enough to get a better response conversion rate.

In order to get a higher conversion rate optimization, the SEO person suggested a series of steps o be taken immediately else I will lose even the current blog traffic though I blog about useful matter to Bloggers.

I realized what I should do to achieve a higher conversion rate of up to 100% if not 900%.

Please, I urge you to visit websiteoptimization.com/services/marketing/conversion.html without any delay. I am sure you will find the site very useful.

10 powerful ways for blog traffic.

I am sure you might have read a blog post with the same title as here at least a dozen times and like most bloggers never bothered to read it again and try to implement one of the ways in your blog.

Well, never mind. The effort from serious bloggers goes on and similarly the 'no effort' from serious bloggers also goes on.

I happen to see the title mentioned here in the Blog Rush's widget in this blog, clicked on it, read only up to the third point and started writing this blog post.

Here is the third point:

"Sell Things via Your Blog

Although some blog readers are just there to read the words and that’s all, many others are interested in making purchases along the way. With that said, you want to provide them with the opportunity to buy something while reading your blog, whether it be your own items or ones provided by outside companies through affiliate programs and pay per click programs."

What do say about this? I think it is worthwhile to implement it. Say, why not join Amazon affiliate program and include a link to any of the blogging world products?

Well, I did so and below is a product that many will be interested.

Automatic link swapper and traffic generator

Everybody needs more traffic to the blog. It increases income and improves site rating in the search engines. Experts claim that a very good blog with proper structure and nice format and content has a chance to get maximum Google PageRank as PR3. To increase it more, you need multiple links from other sites to your blog to be in place. But how can you persuade other bloggers in your niche link to you? That might be a challenging and long range process. There are multiple ways to boost the linking, some of them even legitimate.

BlogLinker.com is offering a way of increasing your blog exposure. It is absolutely free tool to increase traffic to your blog by making use of automatic reciprocal linking: others linking to your blog if you link to theirs. Note that the bloggers who misuse the service are removed from this platform on a regular basis.

Here is how it works:
1. Sign-up to blogLinker, then copy a special line of code into your blog template.
2. Find others like you on blogLinker and link to them.
3. They links will now appear on your site and yours will appear on their blogs.

You have an ability to approve all link requests, and you can hide or delete links you do not like. You can also customize their look and feel to match your site interface.

Example to review how the Bloglinker block looks like:

The reason for blog traffic drop.

* So, the oil price is galloping towards $150 per barrel.
* Petrol bunks are shutting down.
* Freighters are off the road
* Essential goods' price have become beyond the means of many including me.
* Flight tickets' price is increased
* Travel related websites have reported drop in traffic and sales.

I agree the atmosphere is gloomy but why this very blog is getting lesser number of visitors for the past week? Have my blog readers have turned their attention else where?

Am I not blogging regularly or is something wrong with my content?

Just exactly what is happening? sad

Tell me please...

Are you a blogger mom?

So, here is one more place for women bloggers who are also moms to interact with each other, share thoughts and socialize.

When I was submitting the blogs in various blog directories, I stumbled onto mommy community. I immediate joined the team of other mommy bloggers and you can see a graphic badge in this blog at the right sidebar.

They provide valuable resources for moms to work and earn from their home. For example, I like their idea of marketing jewelry from home. This can really turn out to be a substantial money earners for all moms.

There is much for me there and I can't write about everything here. One visit to them will make you see the potential of participating in their Link Love.

New blog promotion idea!

Never ignore these headlines. You don't know what is in store. If you keep an open mind, you may find something worthwhile. This post itself is a proof of it.

Blog Reporter is a social website meant for all of us to report blog posts that interest us. You can use it like any bookmarking website and post blog teasers. (it is my term mrgreen)

Just register for free and start using the site. And don't be selfish by posting your own blog post and exit. View others' posts and vote for them. And it need not always be a vote of excellence.

Remember Blog Engage? Well, Blog Reporter is a similar website that we can use for blog promotion. If your blog post receives more number of votes, it is moved to their front page. Once that happens, your blog will get a fresh bunch of visitors.
