It was all over –the selection of men's running shorts, a pair of hoodie and several socks was completed within 20 minutes. However, the choice of a few blazers took more time than expected. It was because of our ignorance.

Oh, do you want to know who the other person in the ‘we’ was? Who else but my husband whose sudden fantasies would cost a fortune? As usual, his fantasies would quickly fade away and new ideas would emerge resulting in the dumping of the goodies that we shopped.

I wonder how long before he changes his mind and want a tracksuit!

Instant blog traffic through guest blogging.

There was lull about guest blogging invitations in the last quarter of 2010. Since the beginning of new year 2011, I have been reading a spate of emails and blog posts about the value of guest blogging to bloggers.

It seems more than 100 blogs have opened up for guest blogging luring the bloggers with a minimum of two links back to their site and syndication of guest blog posts to several blog networks.

Do I detect a mental block in the minds of bloggers who are inviting guest blog posts that will fill up their blogs with unique content free of charge? I think it is one of the advantage for the host bloggers; in fact, I don't see any other advantage.

Oh well, so be it.

I spent half of yesterday searching for ways to promote my blogs. I got lucky as I compiled about a dozen new avenues to propagate my blogs. It was a revelation to me. Encyclopedia Dramatica defines Demotivators as pretty much the opposite of the motivators. These posters are designed to put the person reading it down, destroying any self esteem that they may have. People who create them take a beautiful, amazing picture and then wreck it completely by giving it another meaning, mostly by invoking anal satisfaction or gratuitous cum-stains.

It may be used to torment people in not funny ways. Even if you're there to watch them break down in tears and reach a point where they contemplate suicide you will feel nothing just knowing that you ruined someone's day/week/month/possibly life will destroy you. It would be foolish to use against those really cocky people with too much confidence.
