Would Google plus help your blog?

If you are also going to blog about Google plus, never write as Google +.

How bloggers can make use of Google plus to attract more targeted visitors? This question is widely raised in the Internet marketing forums and as expected, answers are diverse. Though the number indicates that there are already 10 million Google plus users, I feel it would take a long time to make the Facebook loyalists to betray Facebook.

Here are some answers that I gathered from various places in the web:

* Google allows to place links to your blogs. This means you can also link to your digital foot print.
* Sharing of information is allowed like any other social networking sites.
* I find it easy to add friends and people with similar interests.

Due to lack of patience, I give below a link to a blog post that has pointed several features of Google plus.

It will help you to grasp the full potential of Google plus.

There are different approaches blogger may have towards their blogging activities. Some consider content as the most important, and the only important, part of your activity as bloggers, putting next to zero attention on search engine optimization, links promotion, keywords, and everything else, which is requires extra time and efforts. Other bloggers strictly follow the rules of SEO, and investigate the possible implication for the blog popularity, and write the content solely based on the popular keywords and known guidelines. Most of the bloggers see themselves somewhere between these extreme approaches.

So, if you are content blogger (as I am), you may want once a while check your site for backlinks, ratings, and Google PageRank, for example, to see where you are from SEO perspectives, and how you can improve the blog popularity without shifting your attention from the content itself.

Apple bottoms for 10 year old girl?

The 10 year old girl gave me a sheepish look when I looked at her in astonishment because she was wearing apple bottoms. I have never seen a girl of just 10 years wearing apple bottom jeans. When I asked how she knew about apple bottoms, she replied that she saw a 5 year old girl wearing it and dancing in YouTube!

I thought the apple bottom jeans did not fit her at all. She has a bulky frame. Apple bottom jeans suit only slim figures.

I was totally taken aback when she (she is my brother-in-law’s daughter) said she is surprised that I could identify an apple bottom dress being 53 years old. I laughed out loud and told her that I have seen some of my students wearing apple bottom.

She seemed not convinced. She said she would visit my classroom today to find out whether I am telling the truth.

Is review blogging profitable?

I am sure you are aware of creating blogs that review digital and physical products and how to make money of them. Bloggers copy the model of review sites, use the mighty wordpress to develop static webpage, slaps a few reviews on products, inserts their affiliate ids in order to make a few dollars.

Are they successful in their goals?

No! No!

Why not? What mistakes are they committing?

Apart from monetizing their site with clickbank or similar affiliate network's ids, they also place Amazon ads and Google AdSense ads. This takes away the visitors' focus from the blogger's main motive.

It is a blatant compromise. Money from adsense is peanuts when compared to affiliate income. Nothing can match the Clickbank when it comes to earning potential. The commission rate is up to 75% in Clickbank whereas, Amazon pays a lowly 10 to 15%.

Review Blogging is very profitable provided you stick to your goal of promoting affiliate products only.

The silent power house.

I did not hesitate and said yes to the sales executive of honda generators and asked him to come in to my office. I did not mind his gate crash.

The power outage is now extended to three hours a day. Till now, I have been managing my mathematics coaching class with two emergency lamps. But they last only for an hour.

I badly wanted to purchase a generator for my office but kept procrastinating because I was unable to decide between 4 major portable generator brands. When the Honda generator sales executive interrupted my class, I took it as a good omen and decided instantly that I would buy one that would fit into my budget.

Just then, one of the students came forward to tell me that he is using a Honda E3000ISA generator in his home and vouched for its efficiency and economy.

It made me seal the deal.

Blogging for money-an intro.

The seminar on "Blogging for money-an Intro" was a total flop. The seminar was free. Still, only 4 people attended till the end and one of them was the host of the seminar hall.

I even noticed few early participants walk away with in 15 minutes. The entire participants found it unsuitable to their expectation. Nevertheless, don't ask me what was their expectation as I guess even they are not aware of it.

There are so many people out there in the same boat and their collective destination is work from home but very few dare to venture beyond attending a free seminar. They keep sailing and they would neither reach their destination nor get drowned.

What a colossal waste of talents, time and more time!

If you are interested in knowing about an introduction to blogging for money, please email me and I will give you a link to my power point presentation.

Plane park or farm sheds?

Is it true that even hot countries have started installing metal buildings like cold countries as Canada? I thought it is odd to read in a travel blog where the blogger has mentioned about metal buildings in Iraq.

Apart from factories that use heavy machines, I have seen metal building only in airports to park aero planes. The real purpose of building metal sheds to park planes is the interior is devoid of any pillars so that the entire floor space can be fully utilized. I think it is for the same reason; factories also erect huge metal sheds.

When the newspaper articles highlighted the advantages of metal buildings, farmers quickly started switching over to metal barns to store agri produce and farm implements as the entire storage area is pest free and maintenance free.

Also, metal sheds are fire proof and this is big advantage for farmers who can now store the hay stock without any worries.

Metal sheds are very useful to farmers and why countries with hot climate should be an exception.

How blogher.com can help women bloggers?

Would you consider blog directories as blog search engines? I was thinking both are different till I read an article in about.com where it is written blogher.com as a blog search engine where as it is a blog directory.

Nevertheless, it serves the purpose of finding blogs on our topics of interests. It is an important aspect of blog promotion to find and connect with blogs on similar niche we blog about.

This would greatly benefit every blogger in several ways:
* You will know how and what others are blogging on the same topic
* Where their blogs stand in SERPs for the relevant keywords
* You can exchange guest blog posts and blogroll links to increase visibility of our blogs.

I use blogher.com extensively to find great women bloggers. Blogher.com has neatly arranged the blogs under various categories and then further put them alphabetically.

If you are a woman blogger, get your blog listed in blogher.com without any delay.

A hand held GPS is a perfect graduation day gift.

Four years before, when my son completed his B.E. degree, I did not think about giving him a graduation day gift. Neither had he asked me for one. It was so sweet of him-eh?

One month before, he emailed me a link to top 10 graduation gifts and asked me to buy a hand held GPS for his cousin who recently got admitted in Cincinnati University. He told me that a GPS is extremely essential for those who are visiting the U.S. for the first time.

I appreciated his thoughtfulness and forwarded the link to top 10 graduation gifts to his cousin and asked him to choose what he wants and assured him that I will get it before he boards his plane.

He matched the decency of my son and selected the cheapest one. I appreciated his choice of GPS-a GARMIN NUVI 1350 GPS (see picture). It is preloaded with North America maps.

Don’t you think it is handy?

Do you want discounted ATV tires?

Minutes after the all terrain vehicle entered the by-pass ghat road, I regretted my decision to go on a joy ride. No wonder the road was in poor shape; after all, it was meant exclusively for tougher ATVs. The second hand ATV that my neighbor bought was yet to be fitted with suitable ATV Tires that would have made the ride into the forest more enjoyable.

My host apologized for the inconvenience. He told that he was excited to take the ATV for a trial run before he fitted it with ATV tires and refurbish the upholstery.

I silently endured the bumpy ride (bumpy is a poor expression). I did not know much about all terrain vehicles and I kept mum. However, I volunteered to check out where my host can buy discounted ATV tires.

Using Bitty Browser to Enhance your Posts

If you reviewing particular Website or blog, you may want to include a fresh “screenshot” from the site’s main page. That will give your visitors a better insight on what you are reviewing, and add credibility to your review.

Here, you can use the free services offered by Bitty Browser. Bitty Browser actually helps you keep track of the foreign Web stuff by enabling navigable windows directly within your own site and your own post — it's like Picture-in-Picture for the Web.

Create the widget is easy: enter the desired URL and the embed code will be created automatically. Below is example of my other blog devoted to the Web Freebies, embedded in the post.

Using the service does not require registration. Start from the main page: http://www.bitty.com/

This Internet Business idea can inspire you.

Yesterday, I coined this phrase: "You either sell from a website or sell a website". The person who was opposite to me stared for a few seconds. He smiled and nodded. It was clear that he understood all bout making money online at that instant.

He then requested me to show him one of my blog posts that he said he read recently. It was about making money by creating and selling short reports. Words and ideas tumbled out of his mouth. It seemed a flood gate of ideas opened from him.

This was the gist of my blog post on Create your own short reports for money.

The Internet’s greatest Cash Cow is creating your own short report on myriad hot searches and selling it easily over the web to hungry buyers.

You can start your own online business with no or very little capital!

The potential of selling information to hungry buyers is grossly under realized .

Huge money is made in the virtual marketplace than any other known medium.

He read these sentences aloud as if he was pushing it down his mind deeply.

He thanked me and went out promising to send me his first short report with in 6 hours. Man, that I would call it inspired action.
