Can your eye cream treat eye bags too?

I think every woman throw away their mascara at some time in their life and switch over to eye cream to empty the eye bags . The puffiness under the eyes that we call as eye bags appears on every one of us irrespective of the age and profession.

Eye bags are the first indication of wrinkles around the eyes. I know some women ignore eye wrinkles but everyone is concerned about eye bags.

I believe that the puffiness under the eyes can be removed by some eye exercises and by applying lavender oil under the eyes. Cucumber is known to be another effective cure for eye bags. Now, a few eye creams deal with the puffiness under the eyes as well as eye wrinkles are available.

I would advise you to take the eye cream to your ophthalmologist and seek his advice before using the eye cream on you. I was once a victim of bad self-decision.

Guest bloggers wanted.

Somehow, I have no patience for guest blogging even though I know it is a valuable medium to attract targeted visitors, build brand visibility and oneway backlinks.

I did try once writing for one of my favorite blogs and it was rejected by the host blogger. I accepted the verdict because, my style of blogging is just the opposite of the host blog.

I like the freedom of blogging and what the host blogger wanted from me was an article which is just not my cup of coffee (I hate tea)..

I made a blog post about guest blogging in another of my blogs. It is titled, List of 50 blogs that accepts guest blog post.

Go ahead and read it. You stand to gain a lot from it. And don't forget to share it please.

Oh, by the way, I too accept guest blogging provided the blog post is unique. Think about it!

Why common men don’t buy gold?

A local language magazine took the initiative of conducting a survey among middle class people on what prevents them from investing in gold bullion, which is the safest investment of their hard-earned money.

I appreciate the timely survey because there were complaints galore from majority of people who suffered unbearable loss of their money invested in shares and real estate.

The survey results when analyzed revealed that the main fear of the layman is who to trust while buying gold. It was obvious that people need to be educated about gold rating its market price and global economy that decides the gold price.

The survey also indicated that common man is skeptic to glossy advertisements of gold vendors in television and print media.

They wanted to approach easily accessible gold merchants who care both for his business and for his customers.

It is where the U.S. Gold Bureau stands apart. Through their newsletters, they pass on valuable information about buying and selling precious metals.

The longest skirt for a bride.

The beautiful bride took everyone by surprise! She descended the staircase graciously in a long white skirt instead of a traditional sari! Though long skirts are the most preferred dress by young women, they are not meant for religious functions.

Nevertheless, the bride’s fair complexion matched her choice of white long skirt. White skirts give an impression of educated look than any other color.

I appreciated her courage to defy the tradition in spite of murmurs of disapproval. I personally went up to express my remarks. At the corner of my eyes, I saw the groom’s face lit up with pride.

By the way, can you call a sari too, a long skirt? I think so, a sari is the longest skirt and it is definitely more graceful than the one you see in the picture below.

Promote your blog through Dagaloo

No matter how popular your blog is, there is always not enough if you are rather ambitious blog owner. So the question on how to spread a word about the site always remains on the bloggers’ agenda. Today, we are going to present a new service, based on a Twitter mini-blogging platform, developed by a respected blogger, Nick Cardot, from SiteSketch 101.  The site is called Dagaloo, and it is described as “an intense social media sharing community”.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Here’s the basic concept at the heart of this program: help another user by tweeting out a link to their content and in return another user will tweet out a link to your content. Practical implementation is very simple and straightforward. You join the community (where you sign up with your Twitter ID and password).  You then tweet a link to share another member’s content with your followers.  Each time you send a tweet, you are awarded points.  The point system is based on your Klout score

Then you submit your own content and community members will tweet your links to their own followers and earn credits from you for the effort.

To avoid the system misuse, there is a limit for tweets submission to only 1 tweet per 90 seconds, so hopefully as you browse the site, you’ll take the time to find content that you’re truly impressed with to share with others.

Register and promote: http://dagaloo.com/

Why targetted blogging is difficult?

Even after 5 years of blogging, I find I am still learning the nuances of targeted blogging. Thus far, I have been blogging what comes naturally to me without seriously looking into the aspects of inserting frequently searched keywords.

Every time, I come across profitable keywords, I note them down only to use them in my next blog post but always forgetting to incorporate.

I find I am even lagging behind blog promotion that I was actively involved a year ago. I think I am getting contended with the money I get for doing blogging assignments as a ghost blogger.

So what I planned to do to attract targeted traffic?
I intend to convert keyword rich PLR articles into unique blog posts without disturbing the keyword density. I tried it several times earlier but my natural blogging interfered always.

I have already identified several bloggers who boast of over 2000 email subscribers to their blogs' RSS feed. They are my inspiration. I planned to use their blogs' topic in my blogs.

What do you say? Will it work?

Perennial discount sale of hip hop goodies.

It would not be an exaggeration if I say that at any given time of the year, one can buy hip hop clothes at whopping 75% discount at some online shopping mall or the other.

My son used to visit jmmyjazz.com for his hip hop fashion needs. However, every time he ends buying colorful sneakers instead of hip hop clothes. At the last count, there were 16 pairs of sports shoes underneath his cot. My son’s favorite brand is Jordan and Nike.

One more of his favorite item is one of those pants with pockets at strange places. I wonder how people can reach into such pockets quickly located at inconvenient spots.

I am glad that my son doesn’t wear that platinum hardware on his ears. It will be so incongruous on a software engineer.

How many words in your blog post?

I firmly believe that a blog post should not exceed 250 words. I am voicing this opinion after I read a rather detailed blog post by Viper Chill wherein he stated that the most popular and well read blog posts contained 1000 words.

(Source: http://www.viperchill.com/blog-post-length/)

Yes, I am surprised at that figure however true it may be. 1000 words! My God, that would be an academic essay only students and teachers would be interested in.

If a blog post does not give what the blogger wanted to tell his readers in 250 words or less, then, he is not an efficient blogger. This is my opinion and I am sure there are differences.

Personal blogs can be of any length. Such bloggers write only as a hobby. Pro-bloggers should be able to blog in 250 words to 300 words maximum.

How to track stats directly from the Blogger blog?

I have noticed a new feature Stats in Blogger onsite editor not right away, as it was introduced, but now I am using it all the time. It gives you convenience of instant access to the basic statistics and data of the blog, you are working on. The brief explanation on the new feature is offered on the official Blogger blog.

Although some of you use Google Analytics or other third party tools to track your blog traffic, many of you have requested an easier-to-use, fully-integrated stats feature for Blogger. We heard that, and we are excited to announce that Blogger in Draft now has built-in stats. Just go to Blogger in Draft, and you'll notice a new "Stats" tab. You don't have to install or configure anything to start benefitting from Stats.

The coolest thing about the new Blogger Stats is that it monitors and analyzes your visitor traffic in near-real-time. You can see which posts are getting the most visits and which sites are sending traffic to your blog right now. For example, if a reader shares one of your blog posts on Twitter and the post is getting lots of clicks, you will see a traffic increase in Blogger Stats almost instantly, with the particular Tweet mentioning your post being identified as the traffic source. Of course, traffic data across longer time periods (day/week/month) and all-time historical data are available as well.

There's also a lot more data that's being tracked, such as popular search keywords that send visitors to your blog, which country your visitors come from, and which web browsers they are using. Basically, with the new Stats feature, you know what's going on with your blog right now.

The new Stats feature shows all of this data in a simple, easy-to-understand graphical user interface. Since Stats are part of Blogger, you don't have to sign up for another service, or embed any code in a gadget.

Additionally, if you want the enterprise-level power and flexibility of Google Analytics, you can still use it, as outlined in this Help Center article. Note that the pageview data in Blogger Stats and in Google Analytics may not be identical, due to different collection mechanisms used. Also, Blogger Stats do not support private blogs for now.

Spitting gold bars and coins.

Did you watch the video of the first gold bar vending machine that is installed in a famous hotel in Abu Dhabi? No one could have missed the gold bar ATM in Emirates Palace because the vending machine itself is made of solid gold.

This gold bar ATM spits out gold bars in denominations of five and ten gram bars apart from one-ounce gold bars.

My husband’s brother showed me a few gold coins that he bought from the wonder gold ATM. I must agree they matched the beauty of the American Eagle gold coins that I bought from the U.S. Gold Bureau, the world’s largest precious metals dealer based in Austin, Texas.

The U.S Gold Bureau has been my trusted source for all things related buying and selling of silver and gold coins and ingots.

I very much doubt the introduction of gold vending machines in other parts of the world due to security issues.

My free adviser on bullion market.

When you buy gold, do you buy it as a long-term investment or do you buy gold to make quick profit during the next price rally?

In my experience, when I hold the gold bar for more than 12 months, I make a substantial profit when compared to profits I made by selling it quickly when the price has increased slightly.

Initially, when I entered the commodities market, even a marginal increase in price will make me think that there may not be another opportunity to make a profit.

Then, I gradually started reading newsletters on bullion market and read several gold investment related forums. I gathered many tips from veteran gold investors. I started holding onto my bullion purchases.

The United States Gold Bureau, which is the most authentic source on precious metals market, has been my virtual advisor to buy and sell gold.

7 Wordpress Plugins to get more visitors to your blog

There are many ways to directly increase traffic to your blog, but there are even more indirect ways to give your blog traffic a significant boost. Using the Wordpress plugins listed below, you can automate the process of leveraging some of the best blog traffic building opportunities available through search engine optimization, social bookmarking and social networking. There's even a Wordpress plugin to help you use Twitter to increase traffic to your blog!

The SEO Title Tag plugin allows you to override the automated title tags that Wordpress sets for your blog posts and pages, so you can use keywords in your title tags that are far more search engine-friendly than the words in your actual post or page titles.

The All in One SEO Pack plugin does exactly what its name implies - it allows you to add title tags, descriptions, keywords and more to every page and post published on your blog. Users consistently report a noticeable increase in traffic to their blogs from Google searches after installing and using the All in One SEO Pack plugin.

Google XML Sitemaps is a plugin made with a specific search engine optimization benefit in mind - to help Google find every post and every page on your blog, index them and include them in search results. This plugin is particularly helpful for blogs that want to get indexed by search engines quickly.

The tagging functionality in Wordpress is great, but the Simple Tags plugin takes it to a whole new level. Great tags can boost your blog's search traffic, so adding the Simple Tags plugin is a great way to get started.

WP-Notable adds icons at the end of each blog post you publish asking visitors to your blog to share the posts they read through Digg, StumbleUpon, Delicious, and so on. Making it easy for people to submit your content to social bookmarking sites by using a plugin like WP-Notable can give your blog a boost in exposure and traffic.

TweetThis is a great Wordpress plugin to help you increase the likelihood for visitors to your blog to share your posts through Twitter thereby increasing potential blog traffic. When you install the plugin, an invitation link is included at the end of your blog posts suggesting that readers "TweetThis" and share a link to the post they're reading through their Twitter feed.

The WP-Email plugin is a must-have. When you install this plugin, a message and link is included at the end of every post enabling visitors to send posts they like to friends via email with a single mouse click. Allowing readers to introduce other people to your blog through emailed posts is a great way to pick up some new visitors!
