One million customers trust Allegro Medical.

As it always happens, we had a flat tire at the middle of nowhere and of course it was dark. Is this how it happens to all of us?

And so, it happened to us also a week before. We tried to wave down several vehicles that sped past but none bothered. Some appeared to slow down and my husband ran after them in spite of the kinesio tapes on his left ankle. Of course you can't call him an athlete anymore (but he wouldn't mind calling him so) but he plays badminton regularly. Those kinesio tapes are always on, on some part of his body. (Is he showing off?)

And so, as it always happens in movies and stories, one did finally stop and immediately came to our rescue. You should have looked at my husband's face when the stranger inquired rather sympathetically about the kinesio tapes on his leg.

Hey, I presume you know why the kinesio tape is used! In case you don't: "Kinesio Taping gives support and stability to your joints and muscles without affecting circulation and range of motion."

The words in quotes belong to Allegro Medical is one of the largest and most technologically advanced independently owned online retailers of medical equipment in the United States.

Paid to blog opportunity only for Americans and Canadians.

I took my own sweet time to fill up the application form for the post of a freelance blogger for Blog Distributor. Even while filling up, I had some doubts as I noticed the lack of details in the form.

Finally, only after my submission their system informed me that at present, they are hiring bloggers only if they live in America or Canada and their regions.

It seems they have created a market place for bloggers and advertisers. Once you submit your blog for their approval, they will forward it to he advertisers. Based on their reaction, your blog is approved and the pay rate is fixed.

The payment is through Paypal and it is paid every week. The website responds to clicks quickly.

All the very best bloggers from U.S. and Canada!

Rear spoilers in chrome.

For no specific reason, we may remember suddenly an event or incident that happened in our life very long ago. Our subconscious mind acts in its own way. Do we have actual control over it?

Yes, we have but that is a different matter for a different blog. I was sitting in my car waiting for a traffic jam to clear. I was aimlessly looking around. I saw a garage to my right. There was some dispute going between the garage owner and the owner of a new car.

The traffic noise made it impossible for me to hear the conversation. But I could make out something from the car owner’s gestures. He was pointing to the spoilers that looked like it got a big kiss by a truck. I think the garage man was conveying at his best to the car owner that the spoiler cannot be fixed and that he need to go in for a replacement.

What he is saying was true. Certain chrome accessories cannot be repaired but only can be replaced with new ones. The whole incident triggered my subconscious mind to bring up something that happened in my life about 12 years back.

The mechanic was pointing to a sticker on the dashboard of his car that read wooddashexperts.com

Advanced Trackbacks, Comments, and Rating with Haloscan

One of the limitations of the Blogger platform is inability to send trackbacks when you make a post. A trackback is a simple acknowledgment, sent via a network signal (ping) from the originating site to the receiving site. Trackback requires both sites to be trackback enabled in order to establish this communication. A free service from Haloscan allows a blogger to send trackbacks to other blogs, and also display the trackbacks which have been sent to the blog. Haloscan also puts comments features on the higher level, allowing advanced comments management and enhanced performance. And, finally it offers blog visitors to rate blog entries, merchandise items, services, pictures, or any other objects on the site, based on a 5-star rating scheme.

Membership is absolutely free. Sign in: http://www.haloscan.com/

Capella gets one more accreditation.

“Mr.Badri, have you listened to the recent podcast from Capella? If not, do it now as you might be interested in knowing about earning masters in counseling from Capella University”. I thought I could write this blog post on the latest podcast “Inside Online Education” from Capella and then forward it to my husband who is away on a tour.

But, I just received a call from him informing me that he is already on his way back home. He can as well read it here in a few hours.

My husband is a freelance counselor. I thought he can study online and earn masters in counseling from Capella University, a fully accredited online university. This masters degree in counseling can enhance his counseling abilities and he can serve the community more efficiently.

I am sure he will seriously consider this course once he listens to this podcast that also features a conversation with Dr. Chris Cassirer, dean of Capella University’s School of Human Services, regarding Capella’s status as the first and only online university to receive accreditation from CACREP (the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs) for two master’s degree specializations.

Oh, I can also forward this podcast to a past student of mine who is currently doing masters in psychology.

Are you residing in Blog Village.

I just visited Blog Village. I confess I don't understand what is it about. I believe we can submit our blog with them to get visitors.

To me, the site navigation is very confusing and the layout is not easy to understand. May be, I am getting old. mrgreen

I generally visit several blogs in a blog directory before I decide to submit my blog. I could not find anything of my interest in blog village. Is it a blog directory?

Again, I tried to look for blogs of my interest but I just could not do so; how are they categorized? I did a search by keying in a few words and I noticed this error message only and that too, it is not clearly visible.
"Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /usr/home/main/domains/gotop100.com/public_html/search.php on line 31"

I don't know what this error message convey. I closed the window. I a sorry.

Yahoo Buzz.

There are already hundreds of stories I saw in Yahoo Buzz. It is like Digg-a social news service.
I came to know about Yahoo Buzz through Mashable today.

The difference between Digg and Yahoo Buzz is clearly seen on its home page itself. I am talking about 'Top 10 searches' on YB that is updated hourly.

As usual, we can Buzz any story that we like and this improves its score or rank. Naturally, stories with the highest Buzz Scores may be published on the Yahoo!

But so far, nothing of interest is found for bloggers. I also can't figure out how we can add a story like we do on Digg.

Any idea folks?

Fly free to Europe.

Thank God to have given me a break. It was hectic work since 12th of this month. I badly needed a break and it came in a totally unexpected manner.

My brother-in-law gave us a surprising visit yesterday. He will be here for another 4 days before returning to Virginia. His unplanned visit was made possible because he utilized his free air miles that he accumulated over a period of time by using his credit card.

If this is something new to you, please note that you too can fly for free if you possess one of the versatile Airline Miles Credit Cards offered by all the leading credit card issuing authorities like American Express, Citibank etc.

When you opt for this card, you are given free air miles whenever you use the credit card to buy anything you need.

CreditCardSearchEngine.com is one of the Internet’s longest running sites for online credit card comparison. It allows consumers, business and students alike to search, compare, and apply for all types of credit card offers.

A link cloud for your blog.

Bloggers are familiar with tag cloud. Tag cloud displays the labels or categories of your blog posts; a tag is displayed in bold as the number of posts that carry the tag increases.

Cool idea! It is used by many prominent bloggers.

Ok, what is a link cloud?

I think a picture will make immediate sense to you. Below are two words taken from a link cloud from Weblogistan.com.
Splendid Pictures Apple

When I place the cursor over "Splendid Pictures", I read this: "125 clicks, various collection of splendid pictures".

At weblogistan.com, you can add your link to their link cloud. So, if you have the same in your blog, your blog readers will want to add their link to your blog's link cloud.

How do you like this widget?

List of stuff for your blog' s sidebar.

I think I can set up a consultancy service for aspiring bloggers. I have gathered plenty of experience in blogging and I still have so much to write about. Even if I blog about one topic per day, it will take 703 days to exhaust my list.

So, starting today, I am going to load useful contents in this blog. Now, how about knowing various widgets to decorate your blog sidebar.

Bloggers who find pleasure in answering questions related to blogging can install Yedda Ask Me widget and customize it too as per your choice of topics on which you encourage your readers to ask questions.

"Yedda understands what your question or answer is about, and is clever enough to find related questions and answers automatically for you even if they're listed under a different topic."-Yedda

Hmm.. I have no time to answer questions but I have all the time in the world to ask questions.mrgreen

Affordable relocation service.

I realized I have bought a huge load of books at the wrong time. But then, the decision to shift the office cum residence at this time of the year is also wrong. The annual exams are only a week away. It is just impossible for me to cancel any classes. The book load will be an added burden for us.

However, the decision is made and we have given notice to the land lord. So, we must start packing in a day or two or we must engage the services of a professional moving company. The extra burden on our finances might weigh down on my husband.

I have chosen to entrust the task of finding the right moving company to my husband. I know he is busy but I will tell him to visit movingcompanies.tv, part of Service Network. That will save him some time.

Service Network has set up a network of moving companies that go through a strict application process to ensure a quality moving company. I am given to understand that the moving companies are allowed to enlist their services with the Service Network only if they pass through several parameters laid down by Service Network.

I will just leave a note to my husband and ask him to find out if there is any discount offered by Service Network.

Do you know of a widget?

On the back of mind, I am perturbed because the categories list is growing bigger. I need to compress it and display the compressed list in a scroll down box.

I already received a subtle criticism about it by a famous blogger. Since then, I am searching for a widget that will compress the labels. So far, my search is in vain.

Can any one help me? I don't even mind a label cloud instead of the scroll down box. Any help please?

Free Blogging Communities on Danga Platform

After the publication, comparing Blogger and WordPost free blogging platforms ( http://blogging4good.blogspot.com/2008/02/blogger-vs-wordpress-review-for-newbie_07.html), I got several questions on the alternative solutions to start free blogs. In this post, I will briefly review blogging opportunities with communities, based on the Danga platform.

Danga Interactive was a Brad Fitzpatrick’s company that started in 1999 a famous community LiveJournal and developed a related operating software. In January 2005, blogging company Six Apart purchased Danga Interactive Company from Fitzpatrick, and in December 2007 sold it to SUP, a Russian media company that had been licensing the LiveJournal brand and software for use in Russia. The Life Journal in Russian is the most popular blogging community in the Russian-speaking countries at the moment. Overall, there are more than 14 millions of members using this platform, and more than 3 millions in USA. As a LiveJournal member, you can write blogs, add friends, start and join communities, and chat with other members. You can create custom layouts for your pages, as LiveJournal allows to paste in custom CSS files, changing overall blog layout. Another nice feature is ability to embed your journal into your own website. This blog service also accepts posts from email enabled mobile phones and from instant messaging services. You can upload video and images as well. With all the mentioned nice features, there are some not so nice disadvantages, as relatively high amount of advertising on the page and lack of the proper guidance from the new members.

The software running LiveJournal is open source and primarily written in Perl. Because of this, several other communities have been designed using the LiveJournal software. Among them:

§ DeadJournal - LiveJournal clone with very relaxed terms and usage conditions. Here you can find some journals that would not be hosted in any other communities.

§ GreatestJournal - community with about 2 million members, offering free voice posts, 1GB of photo hosting, and space for up to 2,000 user icons.

§ InsaneJournal - offers free accounts with heavy advertising, strongly encouraging its member to upgrade for paid accounts.

§ JorunalFen.net - Blogging host directed towards various fans communities restricting its membership for users 18 and older. A free account creation is turned off by default, however new users can still obtain a free blogging account.

§ Blurty - one more host for online journals and communities for people over 18. There are some limitations for a free accounts holders, like amount of characters in the journal name, or total amount of entries.

Great exposure to your blog posts.

I assume that many bloggers who have subscribed to receive updates from Blog Rush might not really read them. mrgreen

In their latest update, they have announced the launch of their website Traffic jam in which bloggers' blog posts might get listed on the traffic jam.

I hound these type of blog promotion web sites. Not wasting time, I visited traffic jam immediately. The first post that beckoned at me was about a work at home site called Whydowork.com
The blogger says that it is a relatively well established website, focusing on the employment market and enable anyone who desires to obtain legitimate work at home.

I did click on a few categories of my interest and what I found was very useful and informative blog posts. So, my impression about the value of Blog Rush to bloggers was proved wrong. The traffic jam can indeed help bloggers get more viewers.

Stylish and space saving plasma TV stand.

I was busy setting question papers for my students. I was browsing through various educational web sites on mathematics when I sensed someone was standing behind me.

I don’t like snoopy people. But I controlled my anger and asked the student about his business there.

She was immediately apologetic but requested me to come to the living room. Annoyed at the intervention, I still obliged.

There, standing at the center of the room was a new plasma mount and I have always thought that plasma TV is mounted on the wall. Why not can it be mounted on a metal stand? This also looks great and tidy.

Look at the picture-isn’t it stylish and space saving?

This plasma mount was a present from my students and now I apologized for not behaving like a teacher.

I did not expect the inordinate delay in getting the receipt from the mutual fund issuing bank. I was frustrated and on the verge of writing a strong reminder to them.

Just then, the agent who took money from me dropped in and apologized on behalf of the bank. That was very sweet of him. He assured that he will follow up with the bank and keep me posted of the developments.

“In the meanwhile, are you interested in a few life insurance schemes; they are unique?” he inquired. I was not keen to open one more but anyway I asked him to leave the life insurance quotes that I can go through later on. I have picked up new knowledge about life insurance quotes from efinancial.com

I will post it here if there is something unique.

Who is paid by widgetbux?

Personally, I feel there is hype going on about earning from widgetbux. Hey, I have nothing personal against them.

I installed that widget in one of my blogs, watched several what it displayed. Nothing interesting came up. I doubt very much if it is hardly looked at ever.

Even if someone looks at it, why would they click on because there is nothing unique in the displays. I mean, the copy write is very ordinary.

I wonder if anyone has been paid by widgetbux and if so, how long it took them to earn that money.
I know that they pay around $3 per CPM.

No thanks sir.

The best of Las Vegas hotels.

Traveling to any destinations in the world can be planned except Las Vegas. Las Vegas is one place in the world that is the most coveted one by all ages.

My husband who is so organized made excellent travel arrangement to the Himalayas taking care of all the minute details but even to him, Las Vegas proves to be daunting.

All the hotels in Vegas compete with each other to offer the best package to the tourists. It is obvious that every hotelier in Las Vegas knows exactly what is to be provided in their hotel to the guests.

And for my husband, all the offers are tempting. He cannot decide which hotel to select. That is why we have been postponing our trip to Las Vegas.

The most trusted source for hotel arrangements in Las Vegas is i4vegas.com. They have a tie up with about 85 hotels in Las Vegas. Their website is visited by as many as 25K viewers daily.

Let me wait and see what my husband has in his mind.

The best rehabs in the world.

Lat weekend family dinner turned out to be mini counseling session for my husband. Do you know he is good at it? It is all because he has read hundreds of books on self improvement. I kept telling him to write a book.

Getting back to the dinner, we happen to overhear a conversation on rehabs. There was a family of seven discussing rather loudly about a middle aged man who has been sent to the famous rehabilitation center at Malibu.

Catching my husband’s repeated glance at them, they reduced their volume. Suddenly, one of them got up and approached my husband and took him to another vacant table. They were engaged in earnest conversation for 10 minutes before returning to their respective tables.

My husband informed me that he did give him some useful information about how an inpatient is treated at Cliffside Malibu and what are the chances of recovery.

At Cliffside Malibu, once residents have been accepted to the drug rehab center (and detoxed when necessary), they are assigned to a primary therapist who manages their care during the entire course of their treatment.

Oh, what do I know about drug detox!

The first checking account for my son.

Just before my son left for Kerala, I took him to the nearby bank to open his first checking account. I did this so that I can transfer money to his checking account in case he is left with little cash while on tour.

This is his first banking experience. Obviously, he had little knowledge about the procedure for opening an account but he possessed some knowledge about various checking accounts.

The one he wanted was a premium checking account that comes with a few benefits such as interest on balance, free ATM cards, Internet banking facility etc.

The account opening officer at the bank was pretty impressed with his questions. After all the formalities were completed, my son received a surprise gift from the officer in appreciation of his knowledge.

Hub Pages requires more bloggers.

In a new social news web site, the headline, "Hubpages requires more bloggers" caught my eye but before I could click on it, I closed the browser tab. Neither do I remember the social news site nor do I know what keywords are required to search for it.

Anyway, coming back to hub pages, somehow I did not develop a liking for it. It is may be due to lack of readership for my blog posts. My blog posts on SenseRely and Blogger Party have received good readership but not HubPages. Surprisingly, I suddenly started getting views on my Blog Evolve.

Even yesterday, I received few reads on my Sense Rely and a few clicks too.
I should analyze my posts more closely and figure out to tune it to the liking of HubPagers.

Exciting range of cabinet hardware.

“I may live in style but you can’t expect me to know everything”, I told my a/c mechanic after he completed the new a/c installation.

All I asked him was if he knows about any modern device that closes the door automatically. I didn’t want the traditional door closer; it looks very ugly to me.

My a/c mechanic was surprised at my question since he thought I know everything. That is his assumption and I was not going to help him sustain that.

He told me that automatic door closer falls under the category of cabinet hardware and he told me he will find out from his carpenter friend.

Well, I got what I wanted and looked up in the Internet for “cabinet hardware”. I landed first on DoorHardwarePlus.com. Unfortunately, they are not dealing with door closer but I found a fantastic range of door knobs.

Well, why not? I liked this particular piece made of brass. I may buy this next month. Hey, I have to maintain my style of living-right?

How not to lose in shares?

So, the predictions of financial analysts proved to be true. Gold price has touched a new high and has been becoming dearer and dearer.

Time and again, gold investing is proving to be wiser than stock investing and I am one of the many direct beneficiaries. While investors in shares are now in their lowest morale because of continuous share market crash, traditionalists who are always in favor of commodities and more particularly in bullion trading are all in upbeat mood.

Though my investment is not very high, I still am happy that my portfolio is showing small gains. At least I have not lost like others.

It is still not too late. I would strongly recommend you to sell your shares and start buying gold or silver in small quantities. There is always our trusted Monex Deposit Company (MDC) through which you can purchase silver, gold or other precious metals and coins for immediate personal delivery or arrange for convenient and safe storage at an independent bank or depository.

For over 30 years, the Monex companies have been America’s gold, silver and precious metals investment leader.

Get paid to write blog posts.

Doing a routine round up in Digg, Listible and a few other social news sites is the most rewarding experience for me every day. I click mostly on news and ideas on blog marketing as that is my chosen field.

With a bit of humility, I can say with pride that I am turning out to be an effective internet marketer and my services are in demand.

Oh, sorry, I am deviating as usual.

After the daily routine, I visited one of my friend’s blog on book reviews and suddenly my eyes caught the word freelance writer and further down, I saw the URL of Snap Bomb.

Snap Bomb is a San Francisco based internet marketing company and they have launched their marketplace for advertisers and bloggers. Bloggers who would like get paid for their blog posts are free to sign up with Snap Bomb.

I signed up and I noticed one unique feature that I have not seen elsewhere so far. As soon as I list my blog, their system measures my blog’s worth in terms of US$ based on various parameters. The resulting amount is what I will be paid for my blog post. I was really pleased that this blog got a fairly good rating.

Then, I browsed through various blogging assignments and each one was from a different sponsor. Snap Bomb advises bloggers to choose the opportunity that is in line with our blog’s main theme. It is quite understandable.

I have been writing sponsored posts for nearly 24 months and I know that creating a buzz though blogs is the most preferred internet marketing strategy among corporate houses.

Visit the marketplace created by Snap Bomb now to find out more.

15 Advices on How to Decrease Danger of Being Banned from AdSense

TubeImage.com

Note, that I do not propose the magic advices of how avoid AdSense possible ban. Because, there might be reasons beyond Webmaster control or related to the AdSense stuff mistake. However, it is possible to decrease danger of the ban, carefully following the AdSense Team recommendation and common sense. Note, that getting Google to reconsider the cancellation note is next to impossible, if your site does not accumulate amount of traffic that might get Google sorry for losing you. So the easiest way to handle the situation is not to find yourself in it.
Let’s review some basic recommendation of the safe Google AdSense account ownership:

1. Be sure never click on your own ads. It is the most obvious reason, why the account is banned. If you are interested in the offer, announced in the ad, better type the website address in the browser window. Do not click as your explanations on the click justification will not be later accepted.

2. Do not make any changes in your AdWords code, other than playing with permitted color palettes modification.

3. Do not place AdSense code on Thank You pages, registration pages, or any other pages that do not contain real content.

4. Avoid insertion of AdSense code on your pages containing ads from Google’s competitors as, for example, Yahoo Publishers Network.

5. Do not use “hidden text” techniques on your pages, including tiny text fonts, or text with the same color as background.

6. Do not place your AdSense ads in the close proximity to Macromedia Flash games, pop-ups and download prompts, drop-downs and menu links, as it increases chances of the accidental clicks on the AdSense ads.

7. Avoid placement of too many links on your site. Having a link higher than 100 on a single page will classify you as a link farm.

8. Avoid using doorways - pages loaded with choice keyword ads redirecting visitors to another pages. While you can find many reasons of them being useful, AdSense will not share this point of view.

9. Stay away from running AdSense ads on pages, containing adult or mature images and videos, and racial intolerance and extreme violence exposing posts.

10. It is not recommended to place AdSense ads on pages, involved in unauthorized distribution of copyrighted materials.

11. Do not use the shared computer to log in your AdSense account, as your family members might accidentally spoil your situation.

12. Do not make any arrangements with other AdSense users on the clicks exchange. Any unusual traffic pattern is clearly visible the AdSense monitors through IP addresses used.

13. It is also not advised to be part of the traffic exchange networks or programs to boost your traffic, and especially AdSense exchange networks. While amount, involved in the cross-clicking will be higher than one-to-one, it is still will be a limited group of people, creating a statistically visible pattern, that might drew a close look from AdSense inspectors.

14. It is not recommended to utilize auto-surfing programs to boost traffic to your Web Site or Blog. Traffic generated from these programs is not considered as real for AdSense, and might be a reason for the ban.

15. Read all the Google AdSense policies, posted on the site to see whether your page might be somehow considered violating any policies and regulations. Make the necessary modifications as needed.

And...happy moneymaking inside Google AdSense guidelines.

Click and point web site building tool.

I feel the presence of God near me most of the times but sometimes I feel that God is not kind to me. Now, I could hear your murmur of concurrence-right?

Let me explain. I have always wanted to design my own website without an expert’s help. I have so many ideas for my own dream website and I could not fully convey them all to a professional web designer.

At last God has presented me an opportunity to create my own dream web site and that too on a free domain of my own choice. Wouldn’t it be a great experience?

Web.com provides me this life time opportunity. I am excited at the prospect of building my website and I can choose a template of my choice from 25,000 templates!

Probably you want to know what the features of their web site building tool offers are! Well, I could go on and on about the features but I will just list out only a few here.

*Click and point web building.

*E-Mail solution

*E-Commerce

*Web hosting

Additional services offered are domain registration and web marketing.

This is heartening news for many non-technical persons like me. I feel God should have directed me to web.com much earlier. Still, I thank you God.

The most effective way to increase blog traffic.

I was rather harassed in a friendly manner to come out with the most effective way to increase blog traffic. Come on, I am no professional internet marketer! All I do is introduce anything new that I come across about blog promotion.

Even this blog is attracting less than 1000 visitors a month though I promote the posts made on this blog actively elsewhere.

I wanted tell you through this post that I discovered a new method for blog promotion and I posted it in one of my other blogs. Will you please read it there.

Here is the link:For effective internet marketing ideas.

Thank you folks.

Invalid link in Blog Rush widget.

I received an email from the admin of log Rush that my blog (this blog) has passed stringent quality tests and has been approved in the Blog Rush network. Their email told me that I should be proud.biggrin

Ok, I am happy and I thank the webmaster of Blog Rush.

I checked to see what are the links in their widget and one link titled, 'Three key elements to earning more money' enticed me to click on it.

Alas! I saw a 404 error-Page not found. The link in the address bar was: http://bargainsurplus.blogspot.com/
2008/01/3-key-elements-to-earning-more-money.html

I checked to see whether its home page is opening but no, that also showed the error message.

I wonder whether the administrators of Blog Rush are aware of this.

Showing Labels on Blogger through Drop-Down Menu

For Blogger platform, labels are even more important for post categorization, than for other platforms, since Blogger template does not allow creating Categories. With growing amount of posts on your blog, the amount of related labels will be growing as well. Soon, it might capture a significant amount of the valuable space on your sidebar, and might create a feeling of the misbalance on your blog interface. Amanda Fazani offered a very elegant solution to save the space and still show the labels on your blog. She has created a widget, displaying all the labels in the drop-down menu. Detailed instructions on the Template modification are presented in the following post:
http://www.bloggerbuster.com/2007/11/drop-down-menu-for-your-labels.html
You can see the practical idea implementation on my sidebar. The process will take no more than 5 minutes of your time. All thanks are going to Amanda Fazani!

One more way to monetize your blog with PPP

Will 2008 bring the new ways to monetize your Blog? Most likely, yes. So, we should keep our eyes open for any new trends and offerings. There is a quickly expanding array of new advertising services and tools for Bloggers that go well beyond the standard pay-per-click text ads or display ads. Not all of them profitable, not all of them will survive the tough competition. "There’s going to be a lot of new business models in 2008 that are geared toward more monetization," predicted Pete Blackshaw, executive vice president of strategic services for Nielsen Online, the Web analysis unit of the Nielsen Co.

The PPP (Pay-Per-Play) might be a next big thing in the Blogging World. Starting Feb. 1, San Diego-based V2P Communications is offering five-second audio ads, called NetAudioAds that will automatically play when a visitor lands on a Blog or Web site. Publishers sign up for the free service and V2P then lines up advertisers, who bid on rates they will pay to have their ads played on a given Blog. PPP audio ads are contextually related to the web page content where the PPP code is placed. The audio ad is only 5 seconds in length and a website visitor will only hear one 5 second advertisement per visit to any specific web page. PPP works on a bid management system similar to Google AdWords and will compensate publishers like Google AdSense but website owners are promised to get their revenue share with no needs for the visitor’s clicks.

The earning scheme is:

  • 25% of what the advertiser spends on PPP ads installed on your Blog.
  • 5% of what the advertiser spends on PPP ads installed on the Blogs you have referred.
  • 5% of what the advertiser spends on PPP ads installed on the second level of your referrals.

You can get more information and sign in through the link: http://voice2page.com/info/gaa.html

Why am I not signing? May be, I am too conservative, but I personally do not distract my visitors by any striking features, and the audio ad is quite striking. But, I respect different approaches and views, and give you this information, as it might fit your Blog style and improve related revenue stream as well.

Stunning cornice by Robert Allen Fabrics.

I was simply captivated by this color (see picture) and I immediately decided to buy this cornice made by Robert Allen fabrics and sold by fabricsandhome.com.

What followed my action should be an education for everyone. I took the picture to the most popular furnishers in my city and showed them if they have the same colored fabric for which they affirmed.

Next, the sales girl asked me the measurements of the windows for which I wanted this cornice. Patting myself for my preparedness, I gave the measurements. After a quick glance, she informed me that they are not correct and asked me to go back to my house and confirm my measurements.

I came all the way back (20 KMs) and took the measurements again and it matched. But still confused, I again visited fabricsandhome.com. This time I read their instructions on how to measure a window and recognized my mistake.

Thank you fabricsandhome.com! I owe you one.

Will Blog Rush deliver or take away?

I am skeptic when adding widgets that promise mountains. I am of the opinion that widgets that are said to drive traffic actually take away the visitors except two of my favorites MyBlogLog.com and BlogCatalog.com

So, after procrastinating for more than two months, I signed up for BlogRush.om and awaiting their approval of this blog where in I have installed the Blog Rush widget.

I have my own doubts about the capacity of the widget to understand the content of my blog posts. It has to understand what I have written, it has to understand the category under which my blog is registered and son.. -will it?

Let me wait and see.

HDMI cables for clear digital signals.

Succumbing to my husband’s persistence, my son reluctantly agreed to study a short term course on networking and multimedia hardware. And now he is glad that he completed the course.

Watching the one day international between India and Australia in our recently acquired plasma TV, we all thanked him too because he was to solve a vexing problem with the set top box.

He replaced a few existing connecting cables with HDMI cables and also arranged a HDMI wall plate connection. The High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) is a compact audio/video connector interface for transmitting uncompressed digital streams.

His innovation improved the delivery of digital signals and the cricket match was just sheer pleasure to watch.

The icing on the cake was the victory of India over Australia in convincing manner.
