Your blog is a money maker.

That headline can sure make anyone sit upright and immediately pore over its contents-right?

Well, I am no exception. After I have been blogging for money since May 2006 and this could be something new.

John Chow is advertising it through Google adwords and in that advertisement, he says it is free(?) Sure I am skeptic because he has to pay per click and he is offering it free!

Ok, who is John Chow?

He himself has answered to my question and I enjoyed his subtle sense of humor.
"My name is John Chow (as you no doubt notice from the domain name). I also go by the nick name “Moto”, named after the old video game Moto Racer. On April 1999, I started a little technology site call The TechZone. That site has risen to become one of the largest hardware tech sites on the net. Currently the site has over 10,000 pages and gets over 200,000 page views per day".

That is pretty envious traffic man!

I think I need a lot of time to read his blog, so I will post again whatever interests me.

Blogging Secrets.

Thats the name of the blog by Louiss Lim, an undergraduate student in Bachelor Of Business Administration(hons) at University Tunku Abdul Rahman

My first surprise about this blog was the categories in the side bar because this is the first time I am seeing it in a blogger blog. So far I have seen only in WP blog. That shows how ignorant I am.

Though he has named it as 'Blogging Secret', he is revealing everything he knows in the blogospshere like making money from blogs, blog promotion, page rank and adsense too.

Since his blog is in the same category as mine, I thought of sharing this with you. Who knows, you may get more out of his blog than mine.

He has got already 68 readers boss, and I am the 69th reader.

Free blog script installation service.

I happen to meet this gentleman Mr.Sridhar in the pay per post(PPP) forum wherein he kindly replied to my questions.

Before I could thank him, he offered to help me in installing a blog script for me free of charge.
He is offering this service through his blog, Script Install 4 free.

When I visited his blog, I was impressed with his candidness and of course with his sense of subtle humor.

Obviously he is very knowledgeable and offers more than just blog installation.
He offers to the following:
1. Blogs like WordPress, Movable Type
2. Bulletin Boards like phpBB2, IPB, vBulletin, SMF, punBB
3. CMS like Joomla, Drupal, PostNuke
4. Gallery scripts like Menalto's Gallery, Coppermine
5. Social bookmarking/rating system or Digg clone like Pligg
6. Any other PHP/MySQL script as long as it has installation instructions.

He lives in Bangalore, India, just about 6 hours drive from my place at Madras.

I am going to request his help.

Search Engine's Domination on decline?

I love the web 2.0 technology and all those interactive tools and social networking. Isn't Myspace and Orkut and many such sites are a proof that web 2.0 is in for a big sweep with more add ons to our browsers in the offing?

There is an in depth discussion in my friend Divya Uttam's blog about this.
The blog itself is totally on blogging, blog traffic, blog tools, blog monetization etc.
Every blog post is bit lengthy to me but however with stuff.

The blog post entitled "Death of Search Engine Domination" has been on my mind for the past week as I myself found using less of Google and more of wiki search engines and social bookmarks.

I agree with the views that starts with the following paragraph in her blog post.
"Social media is becoming more mature and developed as well as crowded. New social media websites evolved, either with an original idea or clones of successful models. A wonderful system from where the world of socializing of Internet marketing started. We can say that these websites evolved out of the need of generating more traffic in a much effective way."

Tail rank declines pay per post.

My sister posted in her blog that Tail rank declines bloggers to post blog posts which they accepted from pay per post.

Some months ago also, I read that word press disallowed bloggers of pay per post.

One thing I could not understand is the basic logic behind this action. Of course the owners of the free blog hosts are free to impose any rules on their bloggers. But I wonder whether they get carried away by other media exposure on pay per post.

I like very much payperpost.com and the freedom of choice of making a post based on the topic, the revenue and other petty conditions of the link buyer.

The payment is prompt from pay per post and the communication very courteous.

Their condition of blog post sponsorship declaration might have been the cause of this trouble-I may be wrong but this is what comes to my mind.
