Feedburner launches new interface with several tracking stats.

Casually I logged into my Feedburner account without any real purpose. At the top, I saw the message 'Try new Beta version'. I obliged. I noticed a lot of changes.

My feeds were tracked and clicked monitored. I jumped with excitement when I noticed the feed of Laws of Universe blog is attracting several clicks. It is the top feed among the feeds of my other blogs.

To get more information on the traffic that my blog got, I clicked on the 'Feed name' and wow, there was so much information like from which countries the clicks originated and the traffic source such as feed subscriptions, social bookmarks and so on.

If you are in a hurry, you can view the new Feedburner interface at http://feedburner.google.com/gfb/

Put at least one log furniture in your house

Man, how I hated to part with a massive cot made of high quality log! My husband inherited it from his great grandfather who was a forest ranger during his period. When I moved into my in-law’s place after marriage, I openly appreciated their tasteful log furniture that looked very appealing to me.

Now, after so many years of serving us, the giant log bed begged to be put into the fireplace. During my 25 years of married life, I changed the bed furnishing more than 8 times. I enjoyed shopping for cushions and covers for the log furniture in my house that included a set of lounge chairs, a rocking easy chair apart from the big sized bed.

The smaller furniture had to be thrown out long back. My husband somehow managed to maintain the log bed but finally gave up.

Try to put at least one log furniture in your house and see the difference in the overall appearance of your home.

Don't waste time by commenting on blogs.

I read several blogs daily by subscribing to their RSS feed. While I remember some of the blogs and their author, I don't remember many though I remember their useful content and never fail to give credit to them.

Hellbound Bloggers is one such blog that has great content for bloggers. It publishes some extraordinary guest posts. Today, I read in one such guest blog post in Hellbound Bloggers that the Google Panda algorithm has busted the technique of building backlinks by blog commenting on do follow blogs.

The author of Hellbound Bloggers is Pradeep Kumar and he is from my dear old Madras. Now, I will remember him for long.

The ethics of a collection agency.

Would all the money lenders decide favorably on a loan application considering they can always seek the help of a collection agency as a last resort in case of default by the loan receiver or do they purely consider the credit worthiness of the receiver?

This thought came to my mind after reading a series of newspaper stories of the success of collection agencies all over the world. Contrary to the popular belief that loan collectors use unsavory methods to collect money from the defaulters, I hear highly professional collection agencies engage only M.B.A.s and lawyers, who would certainly not stoop down to other ways to collect the money,

For example, if you care to visit the kgaction.com of the Kaplan group, you would know about the educational qualification of their collection staff and also read that it is a member of International Association of Commercial Collectors (AICC).

No fee guarantee!

The respected collection agencies don’t charge a fee if they fail to collect money from loan defaulters.

A valuable ethics-eh?

Dynamic Views Templates Enhancement in Blogger Blogs

Back in June, we presented the Blogger enhancement allowingyour blog visitors to see your blog differently through new and refreshed Blog appearancethrough DynamicViews. Encouraged by a positive feedback from blogs’ owners and blogs’visitors, Blogger recently extended these feature capabilities.

In brief, the Dynamic templates are new templates designs, which were made available to apply to Blogger blogs. In comparison with thestandard templates as were used for your blog before by default, these dynamictemplates are quite advance aesthetically, giving a new look and new feel toyour website. Built with the latest in web technology (AJAX, HTML5 and CSS3),Dynamic Views offer a unique browsing experience that will inspire your readersto explore your blog in new ways. The interactive layouts make it easier forreaders to enjoy and discover your posts, loading 40 percent faster thantraditional templates and bringing older entries to the surface so they seemfresh again.

You may choose from seven various Dynamic Views Templates thatdisplay text and photos differently. For example, if you have lots of photos onyour blog, you may prefer Flipcard or Snapshot. If your blog is moretext-heavy, then Classic, Sidebar Timeslide may be preferable. Here’s a quickdescription of each of the new views, along with links to some of our favoriteblogs where you can check each of them out in action.

  • Classic: A modern twist on a traditional template, with infinite scrolling and images that load as you go
  • Flipcard: Your photos are tiled across the page and flip to reveal the post title
  • Magazine: A clean, elegant editorial style layout
  • Mosaic: A mosaic mix of different sized images and text
  • Sidebar: An email inbox-like view with a reading page for quick scrolling and browsing
  • Snapshot: An interactive pinboard of your posts
  • Timeslide: A horizontal view of your posts by time period

On top of adding two more templates to the initial offering,Blogger invested time and resources to their customization. Now, you can choosewhich view should be shown to your blog readers by default and enhance the preferredview with several options, like uploading a header image, changing background, orcustomizing the colors and fonts.

Adding a Dynamic View to your blog is as easy as changingyour template. Log in to Blogger, click on the Template tab on your dashboard, and select whichever view you want to set as your default.

Note that readers can still choose to navigate your blog ina different view by selecting from the pulldown in the upper left of thescreen.

While adding most of the widgets available for the normaltemplates, are still not embeddable, it is the forward-looking developmentdirection for the Blogger team. Adsense widget, however, can be already seen onsome templates.

A site that hires bloggers, pay up to $10 per blog post

A site that hires blogger pay up to $10 per blog post. After reading this title, I dug up more and followed the trail. I kept reading so many money earning opportunities for bloggers through more attention pulling titles some of which I reproduce below:

* If you are ready to complete a blogging assignment in 48 hours, you can sign up to receive paid blogging assignments.

* If you are a mom blogger from the United States and if you already blogging, how about earning money for the traffic your blog attracts?

* Would you like to earn $17 plus per blog post of 500 words?

I have no time to list out all that I read regarding sites that hire bloggers. If you care to share your encounters with similar sites, please post it in the comments box.

Thank you in advance.
